Potential Market:
Out potential market is mainly middle aged women. 38.3% of all people surveyed were between the ages of 40-59 and were women. 75.2% of all people surveyed were women which makes our potential market targeted towards women. Out of the 55 boys surveyed, 35 make cookies only once a year, never, or less than once a month. Boys do not seem like much of a market because they do not typically make cookies.
Summary:
We found our previous patents on google patents, all related to anti-stick solutions. They were not products useful to use but helped use understand ways to prevent stickiness. When we were searching for existing products, we found the Scoop N Cut which was a product we were not aware of. This was a creative idea that was a push scoop not a spring loaded grip scoop. This also had the same problem of having the dough stick and was not very durable. The 4 main ways to scoop cookies is with your hand, a spoon, a scoop. or the Scoop N Cut. From prior solutions we learned that dough sticks very easily to all materials and that most scoop designed to make cookies are not very durable.
